ShopSE19 started in 2018 as a small retail focused networking / events group in 2018. Over the last four years, we've experienced and witnessed so much.
Coping with the pandemic on our high streets has emphasised that local businesses are much stronger when they work together all year round.
Since February 2022, thanks to funding from LB Croydon, the team has been working hard on an outreach project to invite more high street businesses in Crystal Palace to the ShopSE19 network and to benefit from the wealth of shared knowledge and experience we have on our high streets. We're thrilled to have invited many more businesses to our network, including many more hospitality businesses.
ShopSE19 is such a helpful source of mutual support and advice local businesses, if they are the victim of a crime or something unexpected or unlucky happens like a burst pipe. Tons of advice at the ready from experienced traders. If you aren’t a fully signed-up member yet: get in touch.

Also, we've been talking with various local community organisations and local councillors to find out how the high street can connect more with our community.
As well as high street businesses, this month we’ve welcomed The London Mozart Players as an Associate Member. We're delighted to have them on board and got involved with their recent family concert in Crystal Palace, where they partnered up with The Bookseller Crow on a discounted book offer for ticket holders. We're hoping to organise more music-themed collaborations later in the year.

ShopSE19's outreach and info campaign has been set-up to introduce more high street businesses to the Shop SE19 network. Basic membership rates for 2022 are very affordable at a flat rate of £50 per business, with funding available to Croydon-based high street businesses.
