Not quite yet Noddy! While there are some tempting offers to be found on all of our local high streets, our Christmas Palace festivities get underway from 1st December. Don't let that stop you exploring and scouting out some early gifts and ideas and making your lists. It's never been more important to Shop Small and Shop Local.
What's in store...?
We are kicking things off for 2022 with carols at Westow House and a fairy-light fuelled array of shop windows around Westow Hill, Street and Church Road.
Come and listen to Palace Acapella sing us into December. Gather outside Westow House at around 6:20pm for a 6:30pm performance and pop into the bar for a drink. There will be more carols indoors later from The Renegades.
This is a night to stroll around for some night time window shopping, support our fantastic hospitality businesses or book yourself in for some paleontological factual treats at The Bookseller Crow with author, NHM scientist and local resident Ellinor Michel who will be sharing her co-authored book "The Art and Science of the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs". From Thursday 8th December...
At this point there will be three more Thursdays until Christmas Eve, and our local traders will be so happy to see you and help you to finish your festive shopping.
On subsequent Thursdays, 8th and 15th December, Shop SE19 will be hosting some of our most loved local businesses as they stay open for browsing and Christmas shopping. Forget the mad panic of a dash into Central London and relax with a stress-free evening wandering around the Triangle, fortified by a mince pie or serving of mulled wine.
Not an American Candy Store in sight ;)
We will be updating our SE19 Lates page and sharing more about the businesses registered to take part this year, here and on social media. You will definitely want to come along more than once to complete the circuit, work through your list and stop off for a drink or bite to eat.
The only decision is to choose your starting point and follow the festive sights and scents. There will be businesses open on every street until 8pm or later. Ask your favourite place if they are taking part this year and come and support them.
